The Many Adventures of Quin

This month was marked by Quin's first trip to the beach. After Bryce finished the boards we decided to celebrate by going to Seaside. Because we brought Quin with us we found that we had good luck on this trip. I found my first Sanddollar, we saw amazing ocean creatures like a Sea Lion and giant crab, and we even found a rainbow!

Quin is continuing to make many new discoveries. He likes driving with dad and diaper changes really aren't so bad..and today he noticed his bunny on his little vibrating chair...check out his video. It is adorable! He also found that he likes books. Especially the one with black and white pictures.

Likes and Dislikes

Over the past month as a mother, I have learned a thing or two about what our new little peanut head likes and dislikes. Here is a list I have compiled:

Likes:

1. His green Binky...and only this binky, no other binky will do. This binky has become such an important part of our family we have given this wonderful creation a name: The Binks.

2. Hanging out with mom late at night

3. Pooping and peeing in the bathtub (the passed 4 attempts to bathe the child have resulted in Mommy being hit)

4. Swinging side to side

5. Milk

6. Running errands in the car and stroller

7. When dad sings to him REALLY LOUD. And I'm not joking about the loud part. Whether Quin is afraid or happy when being shouted at...I mean sung to...we are still trying to figure out.

8. Crossing his eyes for a really long time

9. Making old man faces

Dislikes

1. Getting his diaper changed. Here he is preparing to scream...he knows what is coming.

2. Pooping

3. Burping

4. Tooting

5. Basically any bodily function that involves an orifice

6. Not being held

7. When mom tries to exercise. He wants to keep me chubby so I am comfortable to cuddle with.

8. Getting his boogies cleaned out

I am sure in the months to come there will be many more additions to these lists.
