Funny Boy

Quin's been doing some pretty funny things lately.  Yesterday he gave our entire ward a good laugh:

The primary kids went to the stand where they sang the traditional Father's Day song "I'm so glad when Daddy comes Home."  During the last line Quin started singing particularly loud..

"and give him a great big kiss!"  and everyone in the congregation chucked as the kids blew kisses.  However Quin decided to take things one step farther.  He yelled at me from the stand...
"Mommy now you need to give Dad a kiss!"

At this everyone turned to look at me and I turned a few shades of red.  Lil' Stinker.

I got our payback that night however as Quin decided to experiment with the spout on our garden hose.  Below is a video of what Quin does when he is thirsty and he has a high pressure hose in his hands...

Bryce's Birthday

A few weeks ago Bryce had a birthday.  Not just any birthday.  A big one.  Below is a picture of a secret treat that Bryce received on the day of this birthday.  See if you can guess how old Bryce is from these two pictures:

The wrapping covering this enormous treat.

#2
The treat itself:

Do you get it?  "The Big 3...0"
Yes for his birthday Bryce received a giant donut representing the "0" in 30.  It was quite the hit with everyone at his office.  It took them 2 days to eat the hula-hooped sized donut, but it was a feat that was gladly accomplished.

Quin was happy to help deliver and eat the donut.  Let me tell you it is no small accomplishment holding a giant donut box and squirmy 13 month old while walking across a busy parking lot and simulateously guiding a 3 year old to walk beside you.  But I did it.  Pat on the back for Kari.  And it was worth it.  Happy birthday Bryce.
