Why do I always have to wait years to get closure on my favorite stories? Is it so I learn Patience? First it was Harry Potter, then Twilight, now Hunger Games. I held off reading the second book of this series, Catching Fire, for about a month because it seemed like it would make the wait time for the final book seem shorter. I was wrong. Seriously wrong. I think I will be die if I have to wait until August. What will happen Katniss and Peeta Mellark? Peeta if I could I would book a ticket to Panem and bring you back to Oregon with me. Bryce wouldn't mind. I promise.

Why don't you throw that twist into your story Suzanne Collins...you've got six stinkin months to plug it in. Go ahead make it a chapter. Entitle it "Kari saves Peeta". Do it. I dare you.

Bryce and I spent Valentines/Presidents weekend driving to Quincy, WA for a job interview while Quin stayed had an extended play date with Grandma, Papa and Aunt Korie who spoiled him rotten of course! We made a stop on Valentines day to Leavenworth...

...an adorable Scandinavian town with hearty, delicious German food. It was really crowded and we felt like Mary and Joseph as we were turned away from 4-5 restaurants because they were all full and we had no reservations. Luckily we eventually found a restaurant with really good Roast Beef and sauerkraut.
